I have had tyres i could not change before i purchased the beadbuster. Now its no problem. I was even able to use it to fit valve stem type TPM sensors and no damage to the rim. Recommended

Used on a 2009 FEH Limited with stock rims. Worked great! Easy to use but the paint got chipped off the tip of the foot where it goes between the tire and the rim. The long arm was necessary for these tires (short arm was definitely not long enough) but its padding was in the wrong place or its shape was not quite right - the arm still contacted the rim between the black pads and chipped the paint. I had to use a towel between the arm and the rim to prevent damaging the tool or my rim. The tool itself works fantastic with the help of some wood blocks to keep the tire from reseating as you go around it. As long as you read the instructions and take your time to make sure you're doing it right and not going at it as if you're on an Indy pit crew, this tool works great. It doesn't take up any workshop space and fits in a toolbox nicely.

It worked flawlessly. I got the extension for my Chevy Silverado. It allowed me to break the bead on the outside of the rim without damaging my paint. At first I thought I needed two but you don't just put it on break the bead a little bit then started stepping on both sides of the bead buster on the tire. came off in seconds wonderful product thank you.

I have the older model but I love the tool. Removes crusty 40yr old tires off 6-7” wheels I’ve removed them off. 6yrs old still works great! Highly recommend and would buy again. More than paid for itself. BUY IT!

Works awesome! I use it primarily for Hoosier 970 race tires. I had a set of tires that had been mounted on a race car that was stored outside for years. Water had gotten into the beads and caused rust issues. I couldn't get the beads to break free with the bead breaker on a tire machine. The spoon just kept sliding into the sidewall and I damaged a couple tires. The xb450 broke down the beads with almost no trouble at all. Just had to work around the wheel a little bit at a time. Highly recommend this tool if you need a way to change tires at home or at the track. I've also used it to change a 12.4-28 tractor tire on my old Ford N series.

Had mine for a little over a year now. Came in clutch last week when I was doing all 4 sets of wheels for the new season. Removed all 16 tires with tire blocks run flats in them. Highly recommend greasing up the main foot and bolt if doing multiple tires. Small enough to travel with me in the trailer tool kit.

The best bead breaker out there! Been racing and running off-road cars for 40+ years now, tried many of the different styles, from the long lever type that you have to stand on to a sledge hammer, the BeadBuster is the easiest and fastest. This tool will allow a 5 year old to an 80 year cold to break a bead! I’ve been using this for over 10 years now, and no, I wasn’t paid to say this and do not work for them! Just giving credit where credit is due!

Really excited to have this in my arsenal for this upcoming race season!!!! Being able to break down beads and swap tires is So clutch !!!

As a retired Mechanic, Ive gotta say this thing is awesome! I broke down an old rusty trailer wheel as a test. Broke the bead 1st try! Great tool for the garage!

I bough a Vevor version of this and could not get it to work and threw it away. I did more research and found the BeadBuster. I called the company to inquire which would work best for me. They called me back and gave great advice. Upon arrival, I tried it out and it worked wonders from the get-go. I needed this to access dead TPMS sensors and replace them. It was fantastic. Solid built, comes well lubricated, good tolerances and a 3/4 socket on an impact wrench makes it fast.

I purchased this product to install new TPMS sensors on our 2017 Ford Explorer with 20" alloy wheels. I also purchased the the Extended Clamp Arm (BB1X-CAE) since the alloy wheels have a curved edge.After laying the tire down on the floor, with the wheel face up, I sprayed soapy water around the edge of the rim. I then inserted the Bead Buster under the rim and followed the instructions to the letter. I used a 3/4" socket and ratchet to slowly lower the ram foot against the side of the tire. With a flashlight I checked how the bead was doing and noticed that the lip of the ram foot was too short to rest on the tire bead next to the rim! I only was pressing on the sidewall of the tire, which concerned me. No amount of adjusting the tool would allow it to rest on the tire bead. I then decided to loosen the Bead Buster and insert a flat bar underneath it so that the edge of the flat bar would rest on the tire bead at the rim. It worked! I then placed a 1x2" board between the rim and the compressed tire before removing the BB tool and flat bar. I then repeated this approach in a second location. First, using the BB tool to soften and push down the tire. Then loosening the BB tool and pushing the flat bar underneath the tool to the rim on top of the tire bead. I then would put a 1x2" board in the second spot before moving on to a third and final location. I did this with all 4 tires and the Bead Buster tool worked, but only with the modification of using a flat bar! I have no doubt that using the tool alone would not have broken the bead since the lip of the tool wasn't long enough to rest on top of the tire bead. Furthermore, the fact that the ram foot was pressing solely on the sidewall could have resulted in damaging the tire and causing a major expense, since on our car all 4 tires have to be changed at the same time.

Was smaller than I thought. Shredded my boat tire on the highway. I don't have a tire machine yet at the location I am at and this little thing had no problem breaking the bead on the 10 inch rim. Made here in the good old USA.

I struggled with my atv tire change for hours, trying every diy method I could think of. With this tool, I installed all 4 tires in a couple of hours. It's pricier than others but it's worth every penny because it just works.

I was looking for a bead breaking tool to carry in my ATV tire repair kit. If you get a slice on the side wall of a tire while 100 miles from your cabin in the middle of nowhere Maine and can't get the bead popped to hopefully patch it.....well looks like your walking.Read the reviews, watch all the videos....... not disappointed, so far. Had a 35+y/o 3 wheeler tire that had the original tire on it, so had to see if this was worth the price of admission.Sprayed a shot of wd40 along the rim/bead, wedge it in and using a 3/4" socket on a 1/2" drive with no effort the bead popped right off.This is gonna give me peace and mind while out on the Maine trails!

Only issue I had the pusher foot could be a little bigger A T V Tires 6 ply but small as really stiff wanted to tear tire instead of push it off other than that wonderful tool thks

I have a small engine Repair shop and most tires were ok to break down with my manual machine but atv and bigger tires were a problem. I purchased the bead buster and it is the only thing I use to break down tires now. One of those things you kick your self for not getting it sooner. Another great investment for the shop.

Great so far for golf course turf repair. Would recommend this product if no tire machine is available.
